During the National Day holiday, CSG's peak load reached 210 million kilowatts, a 0.35% year-on-year increase. CSG deployed an average of 53,000 personnel per day, 6,000 repair vehicles, 206 emergency power generation vehicles, and 128 emergency generators to ensure power supply to important institutions, airports, ports, stations, tourist attractions, and other densely populated areas, guaranteeing a safe and reliable power supply during the holiday season. Power services for key tourist cities like Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dali, Lijiang, Guilin, and Sanya remained orderly.
The implementation of schemes like "Northbound Travel for Hong Kong Vehicles" and "Northbound Travel for Macao Vehicles" this year has fueled the tourism boom in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Data from CSG Guangdong Power Grid Corporation's electric vehicle company shows a significant increase in charging activity in the Greater Bay Area from Sept 30 to Oct 2, with a total of 4.9378 million kilowatt-hours of electricity charged, a 24.6% increase compared to the previous week (Sept 23 to 25). The total electricity charged at highway charging stations reached 655,900 kilowatt-hours, a 136.1% increase compared to the previous week and a 19.23% year-on-year increase.
